Our Agency started with a focus on the specific needs of individuals involved in the justice system, making Axiom Care one of the most trusted resources for this population. We offer substantial programming to individuals specifically designed to build personal accountability, manage emotions, find pro-social alternatives and increase a sense of community. Axiom Care has developed treatment services and partnerships to become one of the leaders in helping clients find freedom from the life of probation, parole, and community supervision.

VERN JOHNSON

Mr. Vern Johnson started as a social worker and has devoted over 25 years of his life to health care; he consulted for 7 years to develop and implement a new business concept for 17 hospice & home care start ups.
He moved on to partner in several projects regionally, including two large facilities in Mesa, Arizona, as well as several hospice programs around the country. Vern served as CEO of Building Blocks Counseling and is on several committees; he has held various board positions for nonprofit organizations such as the National Hospice Organization, Arizona Health Care Association, 1n10 and Arizona Recovery Housing Association.
Today, Vern is involved in brokering projects in development, especially in behavioral health, nursing facilities and assisted livings. He brings extensive experience in the service provision of health care in hospice, home care, assisted living, behavioral health and skilled nursing facility businesses; as well as taking an active role in Axiom Care.

ViVRE Recovery Housing was Mr. Duane Mantey’s vision. He has worked tirelessly since 2010 to develop partnerships and support to build the ViVRE Program into the success it is today.
Duane’s passion is focused on improving the lives of those involved in the justice system, specializing in low level offender re-entry, and providing a safe and structured living program for otherwise homeless releases.
Duane is originally from Washington, but made Phoenix his home many years ago. He is involved in many social organizations including DACA and Toastmasters.
He can regularly be found presenting at community events on recovery related topics. Duane is currently president of Axiom Care and serves as president of the Arizona Recovery Housing Association.
