Addiction Treatment Center Mesa, AZ

Your Partner in Recovery

Axiom Care believes the relationship between clients and therapists is the most important element for success on the road to recovery from drug and alcohol dependency. We strive to treat all clients with respect and dignity, while providing a safe place to explore and develop personal accountability.

Our clinical team utilizes the Stages of Change and understands that people can be at different levels of commitment to sobriety and still get the help they need.

At Axiom Care, our comprehensive approach enables us to develop individualized detox plans that help each client stabilize and begin their journey to lasting recovery in improved physical and mental health:

  • Physical and psychological assessment. Upon admission, a client will undergo a thorough clinical and medical evaluation that gives us an understanding of their history, length and severity of substance use, physical and mental health, and family history.
  • 24/7 RN and BHT staff. Axiom Care’s high staff-to-client ratio and round-the-clock clinical and medical supervision ensure that each client receives the personal attention they deserve.
  • Case management and aftercare planning. Our priority is to help clients achieve lasting recovery, so we offer our case management and aftercare planning services early on. Each client works one-on-one with a dedicated case manager who serves as an advocate for their recovery and a point of contact for their family. Clients and case managers work together to plan and prepare for the next phase of treatment once detox is complete.

Take the first step in your recovery journey

You don’t have to do it alone.

Helping people safely and effectively withdraw from drugs requires exceptional oversight from qualified medical and mental health professionals.

The individual will experience a variety of emotional and physical symptoms, such as mood swings, nausea, headaches, excessive sweating, and more serious problems. Our team will help you break free from addiction, serving Mesa, Arizona and surrounding areas.

Individualized Medical Treatment

Our detox program provides every client with the safety and security of having an expert physician available to monitor progress and administer medications when necessary. Our psychotherapists also participate in helping alleviate any emotional issues that arise as the effects of the drugs wear off.

Residential Inpatient Treatment

The goal of residential treatment is to create a safe environment, where you can focus on your recovery without the distractions that come from trying to get sober on your own. Every patient works with a clinician and a case manager to focus on their individual needs for recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a typical stay in detox?

A typical stay in detox can last between 5-9 days, depending on the needs of each individual patient and the extent of substance abuse. Your case manager will work with you to determine the best plan of action for your recovery.

How are you handling business during the COVID-19 Crisis?

We take the health of our residents and community seriously. Everyone on staff wears masks during their entire shifts, and has their body temperature checked upon arrival at work.

Is there anything else I need to bring with me for use during my stay?

Generally, no. We provide all the food and beverages you’ll need, as well as any extra toiletries you may need during your stay. We want you to stay solely focused on your recovery and not have to worry about anything outside of taking care of yourself.

Can I have visitors?

No. Due to Covid-19, and the typically short duration of stay in detox, we do not allow visitors during this time.

How can I support my loved one during his or her stay?

Going through detox, or “kicking” drugs and alcohol, can be a frightening process no matter which side of the fence you’re standing on. We assure you that your loved one will be safe in our care, and the best thing that you can do during this time is continue to take care of yourself, and follow our recommendations on caring for your loved one. Rest assured, we will be giving our all to help them recover.

If you have any additional questions, or would like to talk further about our detox program, please give us a call, and we can connect you with a case worker.
